Promise Teams

This is a high-impact team building program in which students are introduced to the "Because I Said I Would" TED Talk, after this, each student is encouraged to make a promise they can keep. After the assembly, the students are put into small teams and guided through a series of experiential learning processes. The overall goals are to: build strong team support; shift dangerous peer pressure to positive peer support; and to cultivate respect, responsibility, self-confidence and caring in the school and classroom.
